Umu [yuumu] is Japanese for absence and presence. And exactly that is what you can expect from the transformable product when placed at home. In its simplest form, Umu is a Daybed which demands very little space in your home. When split apart Umu makes the presence of the perfect guest room. It sounds like magic - and actually we think it is. From its shape of a Daybed Umu transforms into a twin-mattress with two bedside tables and a place to hang up clothes - just like in a hotel room.
